Video Spotlight: Are Your Fuel Dispenser Filters Adequately Protecting Diesel Engines?

Many states adopt filtration standards set by the National Conference on Weights and Measures in NIST Handbook 130. Since 2014, the NIST Handbook has stated that all biodiesel, biodiesel blends, diesel, and kerosene dispensers shall have a 30 micron or smaller nominal pore-sized filter. However, a recent report from the Diesel Fuel Quality Council (DFQC) suggests that 30-micron fuel dispenser filters may not sufficiently protect modern diesel engines.
